Description

Beef brisket is a great piece of meat – the leftovers just cry out to be used in a sandwich. Don’t be shy with the mustard and pickles!

Ingredients

2 thinly sliced slices of rye bread or 70% rye
2 tsp cold butter
1 tsp horseradish sauce
C pulled beef brisket
1 slice of thinly sliced red onion or a few very fine slices of spring onion
1½ tsp Hoisin sauce

To Serve (optional)

a few sprigs of watercress

½ radish, sliced

Instructions

Butter both of the slices of rye bread on one side. Spread the horseradish over the bottom slice. Pile the brisket onto this slice. Top with the red or spring onion. Drizzle over the hoisin sauce. Finish with the top slice of bread.

Slice in half and eat as soon as possible.
