Christmas comes early to Cape Town this year as Lindt & Sprüngli South Africa opens the doors to its first-ever Mother City LINDT Chocolate Boutique in Canal Walk Shopping Centre.

Just in time for the festive season, this incredible new store is a must-visit destination for all Western Cape chocolate lovers, offering a wide assortment of LINDT Christmas products, including the new LINDOR Gold Range and the iconic, heartwarming LINDT TEDDY.

The brand new showpiece store features an impressive LINDOR Pick & Mix Station as its indulgent centrepiece, which offers customers the opportunity to customise their Christmas gifting with a wide range of irresistibly smooth melting LINDOR flavours.

It was the iconic LINDOR truffle that took centre stage on Thursday night, as the store was officially opened by LINDT Master Chocolatier, Dimo Simatos, and 5FM’s DJ Fix, at a ceremony attended by some of the city’s key media and personalities. There, an impressive, life-sized LINDOR chocolate sculpture – complete with a pouring centre – was unveiled, and guests were treated to freshly produced LINDOR truffles created on-site by Master Chocolatier, Dimo Simatos.

“Whilst we have had a presence in the city for many years now thanks to our Green Point Chocolate Studio, this new LINDT Chocolate Boutique will finally give consumers in the Mother City a chance to fully immerse themselves in the world of premium chocolate,” explains Sandro Weber, Acting CEO of Lindt & Sprüngli South Africa. “We have seen enormous success to date with the launch of stores in Johannesburg and Durban, and expect to see similar levels of excitement and footfall with the launch of this beautiful new LINDT Boutique in Canal Walk.”
