Terroir – the cookbook is the culmination of ten years of inspired and creative food at award-winning Terroir Restaurant, located at Kleine Zalze Wine Estate. With Executive Chef Michael Broughton at the helm, the restaurant has become a well-respected favourite in the Winelands area. Fine dining in a relaxed and welcoming environment where guests linger and enjoy mouthwatering food paired with beautiful estate wines.

The book gives the home cook the opportunity to ‘step into the shoes’ of Michael and his team and re-create recipes that have become Terroir favourites. ‘This is a book for anyone wanting to stretch themselves creatively and technically in the kitchen. I didn’t want the food to come across as intimidating or time consuming, but I also felt compelled to showcase recipes that remain authentic and true to our style at Terroir, as reflected by our seasonal chalkboard menu,’ says Broughton.
