Crumbs & Cream Sea Point

Crumbs-&-Cream

An ice cream sandwich could easily be dessert Shangri-la. Creamy Italian gelato, packed between 2 giant cookies intended to be eaten all on your own… what’s not to love? Israeli sisters, Shahar and Or Peled, have made this paradise into an earthly destination with their Crumbs & Cream store in Sea Point. Crumbs-&-Cream
At Crumbs & Cream you can indulge your sweet side as well as your inner kid – choose two different freshly baked cookies, pick a scoop of Italian gelato and watch as the two are craftily brought together as one. You can even up the sweetness ante but adding yummy toppings and spreads of your choice as well. The flavours available run the full gamut from sprinkle cookies and candy crush, which kids will love, right through choc chip, mint, peanut butter and more. What we really love is that there is a banting option, vegan cookies (utterly delicious), as well as vegan and sugar free ice creams as well. So no matter what lifestyle you live, you’ll find a treat to suit. If an ice cream sandwich sounds like too much for you (you should look into that) there will also be ice cream and sorbet cones, ice coffees, coffees and slush puppies on offer.Crumbs-&-Cream
The interior of the Regent Road store is playful and bright, with a roof suspended swing for added fun factor. We can see this becoming a favourite for families to stop by on a weekend to treat the kids, or even a cute place to take a first date with a sweet tooth.

You can also find Crumbs & Cream at the Watershed Market at the Waterfront. There is also a mobile unit that will be popping up at festivals and can even be hired for events.
