One of the more well-known dog-friendly restaurants in Cape Town, Cafe Paradiso has a large outdoor area that welcomes dogs of all shapes and sizes. Call ahead and book one of these tables, though, as they get snatched up quickly.

If you’re after a craft brew and want to take your pooch along with you, head to Noordhoek to Aegir Project Brewery. Not only are they serving up amazing beers and seriously delicious gourmet rolls but your pooch can sit outside with you under the shade of the canopy of trees. Aegir the Ridgeback is usually found wandering around the brewery, so make sure your hound is good with other dogs. They have an IPA called Crush, so really, what’s not to love?
