These days, dogs are more like children than pets, and it’s heartbreaking to leave them at home when you go out. Thankfully, there are some awesome dog-friendly restaurants in Cape Town that have caught on to this and provide free entry, water and sometimes even a menu for our little fur babies.

Café Paradiso

One of the more well-known dog-friendly restaurants in Cape Town, Cafe Paradiso has a large outdoor area that welcomes dogs of all shapes and sizes. Call ahead and book one of these tables, though, as they get snatched up quickly.

The Ladder on Bree St is a fave for fabulous brekkies and brunch. The uber friendly team loves to welcome a pooch, usually with a little dog-friendly biccie and a bowl of water.
