The Cool Durbanville Hills
The Durbanville ward is considered one of the Cape’s coolest wine regions, thanks to the sea breezes that drift inland from False Bay and Table Bay and the late afternoon mists that bathe the slopes. These conditions are ideal for the slow ripening of the grapes, allowing them to develop their full-flavoured, intense character.

Carribean Charge Sparkling Rosé Cocktail Recipe
Bring all the glam and heat this festive holiday with a summer’s drink that sparkles and glistens. Taste the Carribean flavours with this zesty and refreshing cocktail.
Ingredients
35 ml Pineapple Juice
3 5ml Gin
15 ml Lime
20 ml Orgeat (Almond Syrup)
2 dashes of Campari
Durbanville Hills Sparkling Rosé to top up
Method
For the Sparkling Rosé Cocktail, shake all the ingredients (excluding the Sparkling Rosé) in a shaker over ice. Fine strain through a tea strainer into a glass and charge (top) with Durbanville Hills Sparkling Rosé. Serve with a Smoked Coconut Clusted Marshmallow for an extra touch of glam.
