Warm up this winter with The Goatshed at Fairview’s famous food and wine pairing evenings hosted by the lovely, Shannon Riley. These special evenings are an annual treat and serve up classic and exotic dishes inspired by Resident Chef SJ Nel’s international travels – all paired to perfection with a selection of the estate’s delectable and award-winning vintages. Under-floor heating and warming wines transform the restaurant – which now boasts a reimagined interior by decorator Camilla Fraser – into a cosy den. As space is limited, book now to avoid disappointment.

Choose from a variety of foreign feasts including dishes inspired by Italy, Spain and Morocco:

08th July: Ola Español @ R325 per person

22nd July: Moroccan Feast @ R325 per person

12th August: Viva Italia @ R325 per person

26th August: Shank and Shiraz @ R325 per person

Come Spring, guests can look forward to Chef’s Journey – an evening offering an assortment of plates reminiscent of SJ’s extensive culinary expeditions. The Fairview Cheese Celebration happening later in September offers an opportunity for cheese lovers to sample the farm’s winning selection of fine cheeses and wines.
