Dusty Rebels and the Bombshells Rockin’ and Riding Fest 2016
Dusty Rebels and the Bombshells presents Rockin’ & Riding, the 4th annual lifestyle festival at the Cape Town Ostrich Ranch, where greasers and gals gather to celebrate all things rockabilly. The aim is to create a unique experience for the Cape Town, National and International community attracting over 3000 people this year.
Founded in 2012 by 2 rebel bombshells, DRTB inspires uniqueness, self-expression & creativity.
A platform where all related aspects of the 1940s & 1950s Rockabilly culture can be celebrated together in a 1 day festival – from classic cars, custom bikes, fun fare rides, fashion, food, live music and petrol heads have the rare opportunity to see Hot Rods agitate the gravel at the oval DRTB Dirt Track.

Festivalgoers are greeted at the entrance with a show of vintage cars and bikes. Dressed in 50’s attire or not, MAC cosmetics is on hand for the gals, turning ordinary Jills into rocki bombshells. For the guys there are barbershops to give you a quick trim and shave. Vendors will be selling custom made wares from vintage and retro clothing, cushions, jewellery, accessories, surfboards, helmets and more. Onlookers can also enjoy a vintage fashion show, skateboard and BMX action sport demo. For the kiddies there is an area where parents can leave their children with professional child minders. The fun fair rides are a favourite giving it the movie “grease” feel.
