Saturday Farm Feast Dinner – 23 April 2016
On Saturday, the open air Farm Feast Dinner will commence with wines and drinks being served at a long communal table with a festive, harvest style atmosphere from 4pm. Enjoy dishes with seasonal farm produce, wine – including new Boschendal releases and entertainment. The food will be prepared on open fires by the Boschendal chefs with the centre piece being a naturally raised, pasture fed Angus ox that will be put on a spit and slowly roasted over a bed of coals throughout the day.
The Boschendal farm fundi’s and friends of the farm who participated in the informative festival sessions will join the evening, making this a great opportunity to chat. A separate kids table will be set up adjacent to the shared long table. In the event of rain, the feast will be moved into the new Boschendal event barn. Tickets for the 3-course feast are R450 for adults and R200 for children under 12.
