The creative crew at Between 10 and 5 have curated a group photography exhibition that recently opened as part of the first ever Good Night Market at the V&A Waterfront’s design hub, the Watershed. The exhibition entitled ‘Unordinary’ has now moved to TF-1, the brand new Twenty Fifty gallery and clubhouse, and opened last night as a part of First Thursday’s.
The group photography exhibition showcases established and emerging photographers with unique perspectives whose work presents the world in an unconventional way. Whether through unusual angles or unexpected subject matter, scenes of the everyday are transformed, while remaining intrinsically South African. In other instances, scenes that may seem unremarkable are given relevance through the photographer’s lens, and we’re given a second chance to enjoy the easily-missed humour in an awkward, inanimate object or an interesting interaction.
The TF-1 Gallery is located at 8 Spin Street, Cape Town.
