Based in the uber stylish Jozi interior décor hub Kramerville, design house 03Cubed has just got that much cooler as it is now the official South African retailer of Dutch design brand Moooi. A play on the Dutch (and Afrikaans) word for pretty, Moooi offers a collection of whimsical offbeat designs that are intelligent, functional and baaie mooi indeed.

03Cubed have created an exhibition of select Moooi pieces in their showroom which includes a chair with a branch-like extension that can be used as a coat rack, a floor lamp that resembles a giant bedside lamp, candelabras in geometric shapes, as well as a diverse collection of accessories and décor items for the home.

To celebrate the partnership with Moooi, O3Cubed have also designed a So Mooi Mat, which is a beautifully intricate crocheted rug, in the design of an oversize tea doily. Very tongue in cheek and very South African, the mat would make a superb gift for the stylish decorator who has it all.
