Art Exhibitions at Grande Provence Heritage Wine Estate this February

If you are an art lover, you must schedule in a visit to the gallery at Grande Provence Heritage Wine Estate in Franschhoek this February. On display will be three exhibitions by artists Arabella Caccia, Adriaan Diedericks and Ruan Huisamen.

From Saturday 7 February is artist Arabella Caccia’s Grootbos, an exhibition of her latest works. Her centrepiece, an imposing 10 meter long oil painting, which draws its inspiration from time spent in a forest of ancient Milkwood trees. The exhibition opens at 17h00 on Saturday the 7th February 2015.

Following Arabella’s exhibition, two vibrant young artists will share the spotlight with solo exhibitions from 14 February. as is, so was will feature a selection of sculptures from contemporary artist Adriaan Diedericks, whose work has been exhibited at the Cologne Art Fair and has been snatched up by private collectors, both locally and in Belgium, London and Germany.

Groundbreaking artist, Ruan Huisamen’s ecce homo will showcase his signature charcoal portraits. Using photographs as a point of reference, every subject is captured in immaculate detail. A 2013 top ten finalist in the Absa L’Atelier art competition, Ruan’s work has also had extensive international exposure in private collections in Canada, England and France.

Adriaan Diedericks and Ruan Huisamen’s solo exhibitions will open on Saturday, 14 February at 11h00.
