The Cellars-Hohenort Hotel & Spa will be pulling out all the stops during the Women’s Day long weekend with a special High Tea celebrating the women who inspire, nurture and enrich our lives. Set in the heart of the Constantia Valley surrounded by the hotel’s renowned gardens, the Women’s Day High Tea will be presented in The Greenhouse venue, where an elegant multi-tiered menu may be enjoyed over four courses.

Women’s Day Weekend High Tea will be served on Saturday 8, Sunday 9 and Monday 10 August 2026, with two sittings daily from 11h00 to 13h00 and from 14h00 to 16h00. (R525 per adult and R265 per child.) Advance booking is essential.
Start with delicate tea sandwiches and handcrafted savoury bites, including Cape Malay-spiced chicken tartlets and smoked salmon rillette vol-au-vents, followed by warm buttermilk scones served with preserves and cream. A tempting selection of delicate pastries and sweet treats, including a naartjie and chocolate ganache opera cake, completes the indulgent experience.
To accompany the menu, enjoy a complimentary glass of bubbly, freshly brewed coffee or a selection of exceptional loose-leaf teas. Each tea blend is meticulously curated by Master Tea Blender, Mingwei Tsai, who has also created a unique Cellars-Hohenort Blend of Nigiro tea, incorporating the spicy fragrance and bronze/apricot colour of the Liz McGrath Rose.
