Sweeping Views of Walker Bay from Selkirk House
Selkirk House is a thoroughly contemporary guesthouse in a quiet area of the Overberg and forms the ideal base from where to explore the area. The house nestles high against the Hermanus Mountain, with sweeping views of Walker Bay.
Named after the legendary local fisherman, Bill Selkirk, to whom homage is paid in the library picture gallery, the guesthouse is also ideally located close to the 27-hole Hermanus Golf Course, while the Arabella Golf Course is a 20-minute drive away.
All You Need for a Stunning Stay
The house is entirely eco-friendly and fully automated. On all sides, large glass sliding doors open onto stone and wooden terraces.
The sheltered patio on the middle floor features a sparkling splash pool with tumbling water feature and a Karoo stone barbeque area.
Close by is a temperature-controlled wine cellar stocked with some of the best locally produced wines.
