DeMorgenzon, meaning ‘the morning sun’, takes its name from its high-altitude position in the Stellenbosch Kloof valley, where the estate’s slopes are among the first to catch the morning light.

Morgenster Don Carlo Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Morgenster Estate has a rich history. The family estate sits in the Helderberg foothills in Somerset West, where Giulio Bertrand established Morgenster’s olive oil programme in the 1990s.

This single-varietal, intense EVOO is made from Don Carlo olives, lending a bold yet elegant character and spicy undertones.
