Description

A beautiful and new way to serve potatoes, and they’re super tasty too!


Ingredients

4 Large potatoes (1 large potato per pear)
Salt
Pepper
1 tsp (5 ml) butter per potato
Sunflower oil
1 egg, beaten
150g fine bread Crumbs
Flour


Instructions

Peel and boil the potatoes in salted water until soft.

Mash the potato with the butter and season to taste.

Leave to cool.

Shape by hand in to the pear shape.

Dust pears with flour, cover in egg wash and coat

with bread crumbs.

Deep fry in hot oil until lightly browned and crisp.

Decorate with a dried small twig.
