The restaurant is a welcome retreat from the bustle of the waterfront and provides a comforting respite from sometimes inclement winter weather.
“Our menu speaks to the heart of Camissa Brasserie which is built from a passion to showcase authentic South African food,” says The Table Bay’s newly promoted Executive Chef, Keshan Rambarun.

The harvest lunch is offered as a buffet, which affords guests a choice of dishes, as well as control over when to enjoy each course and how long luncheons will span. “It’s more conducive to relaxed, collaborative networking lunches,” says Rambarun.
The Harvest Lunch Buffet is served between 12h00 and 1430 from Tuesdays to Fridays. Guests have a choice of fresh salads and greens. The salads have a wintery-twist, with choices like rainbow beetroot salad, candied walnuts, blue cheese crumble and roasted sweet potato. This is followed by homemade pea and coriander soup, as well as a selection of beautiful home-baked breads.
The hot buffet is a wonderland of comfort food such as short rib tagine with whole root vegetables; pan-fried line fish with broccoli florets, dukkha crust and buttered couscous, and teriyaki chicken with roasted vegetables. For vegetarians, there is butternut gnocchi with sauté mushrooms, crème fraîche and lemon thyme veloute.
The dessert table boasts indulgent treats including winter fruit pavlova; macadamia and cherry chocolate brownies with vanilla cream, and white chocolate and cranberry bread-and-butter pudding. The cost per head is R260.
