Cheesy Hashbrown Waffles

Classic diner foods are top-tier in our opinion, which is why we’ve combined two of our favourites, hashbrowns and waffles, for the ultimate mash-up breakfast.

Make this savoury treat even more delicious by adding grated Ladismith Mozzarella over your Hashbrown Waffle.

This tasty potato waffle is made with grated potatoes (similar to a rösti) and seasoned to perfection before loading it into the waffle press to make it fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Make this savoury treat even more delicious by adding grated Ladismith Mozzarella over your Hashbrown Waffle and grill once more for that crunch and yum factor. Serve this banger of a brunch with streaky bacon and sunny-side-up eggs. Garnish with chives and douse with your favourite hot sauce and an extra sprinkle of Mozza cheese!

Mozzarella & Chakalaka Braaibroodjie

Long weekends are the perfect opportunity to fire up the coals. And, as much as we love a good lamb chop, the one true thing that a braai isn’t complete without is a braaibroodjie.

When it comes to sarmies, everyone has a preference, but you haven’t lived until you’ve tried a Mozzarella & Chakalaka Braaibroodjie.

It’s loaded with flavour and carries the perfect amount of sauce to complement that charry, grilled bread. In this version, we’ve opted for sourdough. It’s ideal for indulgent sandwiches, so add as much chakalaka and Ladismith Mozzarella as you please – the more, the better, no judgement here! Generously butter the outside of the sandwiches before loading them onto the griddle. Braai ‘til both sides of the bread are lightly charred and the cheese starts to ooze, creating that droolworthy cheese-pull. Serve while hot, and fight with family and friends about who gets the last piece.

Cheesy Chicken Schnitzel Bake

Hosting can often feel like a full-time gig – between making breakfast and lunch, dinner is the last thing you want to stress about. This Cheesy Chicken Schnitzel Bake is an absolute winner when it comes to easy weekend hosting and mid-week dinners.

This comforting dish is incredibly easy to make and is filled with Mediterranean flavours and all the Mozzarella you could ask for!

The whole family will love this dish; you can never go wrong with the trifecta of mozzarella, red sauce and basil. Start by dunking chicken fillets in egg wash before coating with Panko breadcrumbs, then shallow fry in a pan or place in the air fryer and cook ‘til golden. Layer an oven-proof dish with the marinara sauce, then your chicken schnitzels and top with grated Ladismith Mozzarella. Bake in the oven ’til the cheese starts bubbling. Once ready, dollop spoonfuls of basil pesto over your chicken and watch them beg for seconds.

Pan Fried Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Bacon & Kimchi

This Pan Fried Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Bacon & Kimchi is everything you love about a classic grilled cheese but with an element of surprise.

Delicious layers of Ladismith Mozzarella tucked between slices of white farm loaf and the ultimate topping – kimchi.

We know, kimchi probably isn’t your go-to condiment when it comes to grilled cheese, but one bite of this sandwich is all the convincing you’ll need. It’s tangy and spicy and hits all the right umami notes. Smother your bread slice with grated mozzarella cheese, then chop up the kimchi, fry off streaky bacon and add it to your sando for a balanced bite. Long weekends are all about indulging, so layer extra cheese on the outside of the sandwich and pan-fry it to golden perfection. Once the cheese is melted and oozing, sink your teeth into this textural delight and be transported to grilled cheese heaven.
