With midweek cooking, simplicity is key, so we wanted to create a dish that would use everyday pantry items that you’d have on hand. We started by sautéing onions until caramelised and golden, harnessing their natural sweetness. To that, we added tinned whole peeled tomatoes, that naturally break down to a chunky, flavourful sauce. A packet of pitted kalamata olives add a tang, herbs add flavour and the final inclusion is sliced Denny Plant Based Smokey BBQ Sausages. Tossed with cooked fettuccine, this is a simple, yet sumptuous meal.

Plant Based Almost-a-Curry Burger
Winter will have you craving all your favourite comfort foods and having to choose between a burger and curry is impossible. Fusing the flavours of both dishes, we created the ultimate ‘Almost-a-Curry Burger’. Denny Plant Based Patties are stacked with flavour and the amount of bite in this dish is just right!
Sticking with the theme of simple and delicious, Denny Plant Based Patties were cooked in three sizzling minutes.
We decided to ditch the burger buns and made some fluffy, garlic-infused flatbread instead. Bolstering the flavour of the ‘burger’ we whipped up some curried mayo using vegan mayo, zesty lemon juice and curry powder. Tomato and onion sambal, grated carrot and a refreshing mint-infused raita add layers of flavour. Sticking with the theme of simple and delicious, Denny Plant Based Patties were cooked in three sizzling minutes. After assembling this bad boy, you’ll want to take one big bite at the expense of messy hands and sauce in the corner of your mouth.
