The Good Life Show, SA’s Biggest Health-Conscious Event Comes To Cape Town
With a growing global interest in sustainable living and eating, The Plant Powered Show has become one of the most successful food and lifestyle events in South Africa. This year, the plant-based, conscious-living event will transform into an even greater platform, The Good Life Show, and will host four dynamic events under one roof.
Showgoers can expect a thrilling programme, with food demos, engaging talks, expos and Masterclasses, all hosted by the industry’s best.
The Good Life Show Experience
The Good Life Show is aimed at those interested in food, health, wellness and the environment, as well as people looking to lead more health-conscious lives.
The show is also open to trade, including the retail and hospitality sectors and to local distributors and exporters, and thus appeals to any industry wanting innovative, high-quality products. Visitors can learn from brands and businesses making a difference, and receive the guidance they need to make sustainable changes that align with their lifestyle.
With a single ticket, visitors can gain access to all four shows…
- The Plant Powered Show (Africa’s premier plant-based & conscious-living event)
- Natural & Organic Show (Powered by Nature)
- The Free-from Show (Embrace the alternatives)
- SustainEx (Live and love the sustainable life)
Showgoers can expect a thrilling programme, with food demos, engaging talks, expos and Masterclasses, all hosted by the industry’s best.
Exciting Expos
With a marketplace brimming with sustainable products and everything in between, showgoers will be spoilt for choice. Discover high-quality and delicious plant-based, free-from, natural and organic foods and tasters, as well as an array of organic, ethical and sustainable beauty, and household and lifestyle products.
The Woolworths Good Life Kitchen with PlantLove
The Woolworths Good Life Kitchen with PlantLove is the star feature of the show. Meet the legendary chefs showcasing their skills and demonstrating the best, easiest ways to create exciting, versatile, healthy, and delicious, sustainable recipes. Tops chefs will be using some of the most innovative and popular products to inspire home cooks to experiment with sustainable cooking.
As part of its collaboration with the Good Life Show, the SA Chefs Association also invites aspiring chefs to enter the ‘Plant-Based Chef of the Year’ competition, which will take place at the three-day event. Not only will the winners – in both the junior and senior categories – be named ‘Plant-Based Chef of the Year’, but they will also be given a coveted place to take part in the 2028 Culinary Olympics. To enter the competition, submit your application here.
Tasting the Future Talks
The Tasting the Future Talks will feature diverse and compelling talks and panel discussions by culinary experts, top nutritionists, dieticians, and health and sustainability experts. These talks are designed to educate, inspire and share cutting-edge information, shaping the future of food and the food industry.
The SA Chefs Association, which celebrates its Golden Jubilee anniversary (50 years) in 2024, will curate and host the ‘Tasting the Future’ talks at the Good Life Show. Topics will cover sustainable cooking and best agricultural practices, among other industry key themes.
Not only will these live talks be a great platform for speakers to engage with the audience, but audience members will also be given the unique opportunity to talk to and interact with industry experts. Entrance to these informative talks at the show is free.
Masterclasses
One of the highlights of this three-day event is the programme of exciting and informative Woolworths Masterclasses with PlantLove, which will feature well-informed chefs and award-winning mixologists hosting interactive hands-on food and drink workshops. Programme details will be announced soon.

Event producer, Heidi Warricker, says: “Consumers want to make sustainable choices, yet recent studies have shown that they need more information to determine which products, brands or advice to follow to make the best choices. Many consumers also want to live more consciously and be more mindful of the animals we share the planet with, and at the same time, chefs and foodies want to be inspired to create delicious meals with exciting new ingredients. It is this food revolution that we are proud to be championing by bringing this show to all our visitors.”
