Viticulturist, Johan Reyneke, takes biodynamic and organic farming very seriously. Working closely with the University of Stellenbosch, Reyneke Wines have replanted vineyards, since 1988, with noble cultivars suitable for the area.
This blend of 60% Syrah and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon is truly irresistible at first sip.
On the nose: the wine has an elegant aroma of white pepper with hints of sweet violets and lilies which dominate the nose.
On the palate: shows the ‘vitality’ of this wine with fresh acid and sophisticated grape tannins. the wine has depth and a layered complexity that will evolve and add richness with further bottle maturation.
