Champagne Bollinger Special Cuvée NV & Rosé NV

Since its creation in 1829, the House of Bollinger has relayed its creation of a unique style of Champagne from one generation to the next. Today, the Bollinger style is clearly distinguishable from all other Champagnes and compels admiration from the greatest gastronomic critics.

Bollinger Champagnes represent an exacting but delicate blend of terroir, traditional values and craftsmanship. The Bollinger family own the majority of their vineyards, and grapes come mostly from Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards. The Champagnes are characterised by their richness, their vinosity, their great structure and long finish.

Bollinger Special Cuvée NV

The Special Cuvée is the most accomplished expression of the House style.

Pinot Noir-dominated for structure and with the addition of a percentage of “reserve” wine which has been aged in magnums for years in the underground cellars, the Cuvée is complex and rewarding.

Full and expansive on the palate, it is intense, very elegant and refined with pear and brioche flavours and a long, refreshing finish.

Absolutely fabulous served for afternoon tea, at a picnic, as a pre-dinner drink and is an ideal accompaniment to sushi, prawns and crayfish, good cured ham or sliced, seared beef fillet.

Bollinger Rosé NV

This delightful cuvée is a blend of 62% Pinot Noir, 24% Chardonnay, 14% Meunier, from 85% Grand or Premier Cru vineyards, symbolic of exceptional quality.

It perfectly combines power with freshness, a silky texture and juicy wild berry flavours, a touch of creaminess and a lasting raspberry finish.

Enjoy for morning celebrations, garden parties, as an aperitif or served with crayfish, salmon, Japanese cuisine or not-so-spicy Asian cuisine and fruit-based desserts.

James Bond first started drinking champagne in the book Diamonds are Forever and since appearing in the first movie in 1973, Bollinger Champagne has been ordered in 15 films.

The next 007 movie “No Time to Die” will be released in April 2020 and a limited edition Bollinger No Time to Die 2011 vintage Champagne will be released towards the end of 2019 to celebrate the occasion.

This collector’s edition will be available from select fine wine stores.
