Cape Herb & Spice Introduces New Healthy Tastebud Range: A New Generation of Seasoning

Words: Crush

Internationally acclaimed seasoning experts, Cape Herb & Spice, have released an innovative range of spices – inspired by a conscious global movement towards making healthier eating choices. The launch of the Tastebud range speaks to iconic, popular flavours while delivering a solution to the universal desire for healthy, natural seasoning.

The Cape Herb & Spice Tastebud Range

The Tastebud range comprises of seven delicious variants, each with a unique flavour profile, including Zesty, Umami, Herbed, Caramel, Seeded, Savoury and Spicy.

With over 80% of their herbs and spices procured directly from source, Cape Herb & Spice is able to ensure that only the cleanest ingredients are used in creating products that are full of flavour – packed and blended according to the highest international standards, and tested prior to packing and dispatching.

Good for All

Cape Herb & Spice products are free from artificial flavourants and colourants, with no added MSG or preservatives as well as being non-irradiated, non-GMO and suitable for vegans. The Tastebud range is also Halaal and Kosher certified.

The range is verified gluten-free, safeguarding that all of the products are tested before packing and again before dispatching.

Gluten-free, however, does not mean taste free. In order to create the delicious savoury flavour, this unique range of seasonings uses a clever combination of natural yeast extract to create a moreish savoury taste. A base of coconut flour adds texture and acts as a flavour carrier, delivering a deliciously complex flavour profile that packs a punch to curb any craving.

“The Tastebud range speaks to the consumers’ increasing need for clean eating products that deliver on flavour. These blends are highly versatile and push the boundaries with ingredients that are new to seasoning and that answer to this need,” says Marketing Manager of Cape Herb & Spice, Shelley Barnard.
