Situated in the heart of the Stellenbosch Winelands, this quintessential family-style Deli with home-made delights and sweet culinary creations is the ideal retreat for both locals and international guests wanting to spend a relaxing day with family and friends.

The modest menu boasts a variety of dishes from well-loved recipes prepared to perfection with only the best fresh ingredients.

The new breakfast addition to the menu is available throughout the day and includes dishes such as creamy free range scrambled eggs served on an open croissant; a gourmet breakfast pizza and a healthy nutty Granola served with a seasonal fruit salad.

Lunch at Lanzerac Deli

Inspired by all things summer, this season’s lunch menu promises to delight all taste buds. Guests are able to choose between a selection of gourmet open and closed sandwiches, flavoursome homemade pies, or quiches and freshly baked scones. The Slow Cooked Beef open sandwich and Red Onion, Thyme and Walnut roll (closed sandwich) are guaranteed to be a favourite amongst visitors.

For those preferring something lighter or wishes to share the Lanzerac Deli offers a variety of cheese and charcuterie platters that includes a selection of artisanal breads and preserves, which makes for the perfect country inspired experience. Be sure not to miss out on the daily specials such as the Chef’s seasonal salad and the scrumptious gourmet Deli burger made from pure Beef Steak patties.

Sweet tooth? You can’t leave without sampling the selection of artisanal ice creams on offer. Salted Caramel Peanut Butter Fudge; Strawberry and Clotted Cream, and the wine-infused Pinotage, Vanilla and Raspberry Crumb ice creams are just some of the decadent treats you’ll be able to choose from. Since choosing your favourite might be a daunting task, we suggest trying a different flavour on each visit.

And what would a visit to the Winelands be without a relaxing picnic lunch experience? Choose between the Lanzerac Basket, which includes an array of snacks; or tailor make your own picnic hamper to suit your own preference.
