Description

The sesame seeds give a great crusty top to the delicate oven-baked Salmon

Ingredients

grapeseed oil
black sesame seeds
1 fresh Norwegian salmon fillet per person (about 150 g each)
freshly squeezed lemon juice
Maldon salt

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Cover the bottom of a baking tray with baking paper and brush the surface lightly with oil.

Sprinkle the sesame seeds onto a flat working surface. Turn the salmon fillets skin-side up and roll the flesh side in the seeds. Now place the fillets skin-side down on the baking paper. Squeeze the lemon juice over the fish and season with salt. Place in the oven and bake for about 10 minutes, until a milky liquid runs out. Remove from the oven and serve immediately or at room temperature.

Sophia’s suggestion

Serve with steamed asparagus and potato gratin.
