Maximillien Restaurant launches New Menu WIN DATE NIGHT FOR TWO!
What can only be described as one of Sandton’s most well-known restaurants, the Maximillien is a stalwart of the culinary scene. Floor to ceiling windows allow in soft natural light during the day and create a picturesque view for evening dining. Romantic candlelight dinners set the evening mood.

Maximillien restaurant, New York Charm in The Heart of Sandton
The décor is reminiscent of the old-school Balthazar restaurant in New York; dark wood panelling, mirrors and red upholstery, as well as black and white checked flooring and intricately pressed ceilings, will make you think that you’ve stepped back in time to the 1920s.
Located in the bustling heart of Sandton, with easy access from Nelson Mandela Square and Sandton City, this is the place to go if you are looking for great food and attentive service.
Dining at Maximillien restaurant
Constantly evolving, the latest menu offers a variety of delicious and flavoursome meals. Chef Sylvester asks his kitchen team for their input, so the menu is an amalgamation of everyone’s favourites dish. He admits that he loves to make people happy, and he speaks through his food – when he sees people enjoying their meal and having a fantastic dining experience, it truly makes him happiest.
If you love fine dining, but with a more American twist then you will love the Manhattan burger – a double Wagyu patty creation that is a burger lover’s delight. The authentic hotdogs in a delicious pretzel bun are also a treat.
A definite must-try is the King Lobster, for those of you who love seafood, and for the vegetarians, don’t feel left out there is also something for you on the menu too.
They say life is too short, so you should eat the dessert first, well for all you sweet tooth lovers your eyes will literally light up when you see the size of the Cronut, filled with crème patisserie, and the chocolate brownies, it’s definitely the season to indulge.
If you are a creature of habit, then you will be pleased to know that firm favourites such as the Butter Chicken Curry and the South African cuts are still on the menu, as well as the chocolate dome to share.
Open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the team at the Maximillien know how to keep things interesting and diverse. The menu is an amazing combination of flavours and an interesting take on New York flavours.
