FOOD MARKETS IN JOHANNESBURG
FOURWAYS FARMER’S MARKET
Start the weekend off by visiting the Fourways Farmers Market. With 107 vendor stores selling products that are local artisanal and delicious. There is plenty of rustic seating on tree stumps and benches it’s a great place to meet a group of friends and hang out.

MARKET ON MAIN
A food and design market that takes place every Sunday at Arts on Main. A relaxed and creative space for makers to trade, and for locals and visitors to spend their weekend leisure time

1 FOX MARKET SHED
1 Fox is a creative space that is home to the market shed, which houses some of the best artisanal craft, design and food products in the city. The Market Shed shares a space with Mad Giant Brewery and a fantastic live music venue, where guests can sit back, relax and listen to some of the local talent on show.

BRYANSTON ORGANIC MARKET
A market with an emphasis on selling fresh fruit and vegetables that haven’t been grown with artificial fertilisers and added chemicals. Pick up what you need for the week and rest assured that it’s healthy and nutritious.

ROSEBANK SUNDAY MARKET
While not technically a food market, it is one of the longest standing markets in Jozi. Rosebank’s Sunday Market is located on a rooftop parking lot that transforms into an amazing place where DJ’s and live bands will provide the soundtrack to your Sunday. Another unique aspect to this market is the car boot sale side of things, as they say, one man’s junk is another man’s treasure. Find vintage and unusual pieces.

IRENE VILLAGE MARKET
The market is known for offering a great variety of South African top quality handmade arts and crafts.
