As we settle into the cooler winter months the Crush team thought it beneficial to bring out a creative, colourful and warming issue inspired by the connection of food and art. We asked tops chefs Bertus Basson, Christiaan Campbell and Richard Carstens to create dishes that were inspired by paintings of their choice. The results are fascinating. We hope none of them induce a flood of painted black, computer screens around the country!
Amoungst the art, artists, designs and molecular gastronomy there are some lovely, feel good recipes and wines to keep you content during the cold months.
Look out for the new winter specials spread that will keep you informed on what tasty deals are out there.

We are very proud of this colourful issue we hope you not only enjoy eating and drinking what is in it but have a visual treat as well.
