Celebrate Heritage Month at the Townhouse Hotel

To celebrate #HeritageMonth Townhouse Hotel is putting on a feast of flavour in a spread of local dishes.

Tuck into authentic Mzansi dishes during the whole month of September.

Choose from a selection of starters, snacks and meals.

Love samoosas? Just imagine the crunchy deliciousness of pastry wrapped around a veggie filling of lentils, spinach, potato, roasted cumin and coriander, served with lemon and fruit chutney! So yummy, you get six for just R52!

There’s also beef biltong pâté with sour fig jam, roosterbrood and pickles (R63). Or perhaps you’re after the flavour of the sea – try smoked West Coast snoek salad with pickled Granny Smith apples, dried apricots and a raisin-buchu dressing (R72).

Mains and Desserts

For something more substantial, order the Cape Malay chicken-curry in a homemade roti, sambals, banana and coriander yoghurt included (R82).

Mains include slow-cooked potjiekos (R98) and tshisa nyama (lamb chop and boerewors) with phutu and chakalaka (R128). Finish off with your favourite Cape cuisine puds: milk tart (R24) or malva pudding with vanilla custard (R48).

Feast on the flavours of our multicultural culinary heritage. Book your table at Townhouse Hotel an email or call 021-465 7050.
