Le Roux bubbly either in the fashionably decorated restaurant or while enjoying the winter sunshine on the al fresco deck? Each dish on the lunch menu is specially designed to perfectly match a particular J.C. Le Roux Cap Classique or sparkling wine.
For early birds, the breakfast options are an absolute feast. Try the vineyard breakfast of scrambled eggs, button mushroom, fried cocktail tomatoes, bacon, mini rosti and chipolatas, Norwegian salmon omelette drizzled with lime zest pesto. The breakfast tapas is a fiesta of home-made chocolate granola, berry compote, natural yoghurt, fresh fruit, gypsy ham, home-made tomato chutney, snoek pate, biltong butter and rye toast. Other breakfast favourites include eggs benedict, French toast and mushroom omelette to name a few. Chef Renshaw Adams’ lunch line-up is a delicious choice between mouth-watering appetisers of oysters or tapas, juicy mains, crisp salads and seductive desserts. Oysters and bubbly are perfect taste partners, all the more reason to try the Le Venue assortment made in a selection of styles, including Maldon sea salt and lemon, Thai-marinated and Bloody Mary.
The mains selection includes a bubbly beef burger with crispy bacon, camembert and fried onion-rings with an apple, cranberry and J.C. Le Roux La Fleurette chutney, Thai black mussel and Kingklip curry, sticky soy pork belly, prawn and chorizo salad and seared Asian Beef Salad. Don’t skip dessert – from dulce de leche cheese cake, date and walnut baklava, to chocolate malva pudding and a cheese board with local farmhouse cheeses, served with preserves, fresh fruits, chocolate pretzels and crackers, you will definitely find your favourite.
