De Grendel Restaurant
De Grendel has always been known for their outstanding wines, but recently they’ve had some competition from the restaurant. The restaurant at De Grendel is a great pitstop on a day of wine tasting, but we especially love whiling away a Sunday afternoon there. It’s not quite Durbanville, but we’ve included it becuase of its beautiful views and delicious food.

Diemersdal Farm Eatery
Despite being as old as it is, Diemersdal Estate seem to keep up with the times and always remain fresh and exciting. The same could be said of their restaurant, where they offer a seasonal and constantly-changing menu. Durbanville Hills Restaurant at Durbanville Hills Wine Estate
This Durbanville restaurant is the perfect environment to kick back and relax. The airy space offers panoramic views of Table Mountain and Table Bay as well as the rolling hills and vineyards. Eat @ Altydgedacht
As one of the oldest wine farms in the Cape, Altydgedacht has a serious reputation to uphold. Their wines are some of the best, so naturally, their casual eatery Eat@Altydgedacht was always going to be great. You can either sit out in the garden, or amongst the barrels, but either way you’re set for a great meal.

Tables at Nitida
As if choosing somewhere to eat in Durbanville wasn’t hard enough, Nitida went and opened two restaurants. Tables is a much more low-key vibe than Cassia, so you can expect a European-inspired cafe menu, as well as some great picnic options.

Poplars and The Backyard @ D’Aria Wine Estate
D’Aria Wine Estate is home to Poplars Restaurant as well as The Backyard outdoor venue. Both serve wholesome, fresh food and the backdrop of the wine estate is a beautiful setting. It is a popular venue for events, so it is a good idea to call ahead and check that it is open. Poplars serves an a la carte menu with delicious mains such as lamb rump and slow roasted pork belly. The Backyard is a more casual venue where you’ll find woodfired pizzas, nachos and burgers.

Yoco Eatery is not just your average café, expect things to be done properly resulting in quality food that you’ll want to return for again and again.
