First Choice Increases Their Commitment to Sustainability

Words: Crush

First Choice has taken some exciting steps to increase their commitment to sustainability. Through the development of new packaging, they are paving the way for a greener approach to the way they do business.

First Choice, The Sustainable Choice

First Choice is admired as a company that sets out to do good, sustainable business, and they are dedicated to doing their part for the environment. With the introduction of their new plant-based closures on 250 ml and 1-litre Tetra Pak packages, they have made a small change that can add up to a whole lot of good for the planet.

First Choice

First Choice’s 1-litre long-life product packs are now made from more than 80% plant-based material and are 100% recyclable. The plant-based closures are recognisable by their green colour. A closure might not seem like much, but there’s more to it.

Give us some sugar

Not only is the new green plant-based closure renewable, but the plastic layers of the 1 litre Tetra Pak cartons are made from sugar cane. When combined with the paper board, which is sourced from responsibly managed forests, the pack is comprised of more than 80% renewable resources.

Furthermore, all their long-life packages are 100% recyclable, which means that each layer can be separated and recycled in order to make other products.

Choose the pack with the green closure and play your part in creating sustainable change.

First Choice

The world is beginning to grasp the need to go green, and consumers are looking for eco-conscious choices that value the environment. First Choice has made that as simple as selecting one of their green-capped products off the shelf.

“We take recycling seriously, and want to encourage our customers to do the same.”
