Image-1

Keep little hands busy over the holiday season with Christmas Cooking with Kids – Rudolph Reindeer Sarmies. Here Jade creates a Rudolph sandwich as easy as 1-2-3!

To make a Rudolph Reindeer Peanut Butter Sandwich you’ll need:

2 slices of brown bread
peanut butter for spreading
jam for spreading (optional)
2 raisins for eyes
something to use as a red nose (tip of a strawberry or baby tomato, smartie etc)
something to make the whites of his eyes (cream cheese, a small round of mozzarella, a piece of marshmallow etc)

Allow your little one to use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut a shape into 2 slices of bread. Spread peanut butter onto one half and sandwich the 2 halves together. *Optional: add some jam as well for a PB&J sandwich.

Using the leftover crusts, cut 2 ears (corners) and a set of antlers. Decorate rudolf by giving him eyes and placing his 2 ears and his 2 antlers on the plate. Finish by adding his ruby red nose!

Admire for a minute or 2 and then devour!
