Wine Sparkling Méthode Cap Classique

Armilla MCC Brut NV

Méthode Cap Classique

‘Soil is Life’ is the ethos this farm lives by – they believe that it’s not only nature’s energies, but also the animals, people and even buildings that form part of a complex web of interconnected interdependence. They take ancient organic and biodynamic practices into the 21st century, incorporating modern science, technology and knowledge to enhance sustainability.

Each wine carries a name with a connection to nature like the moon, sweet water, soil and soul, vortex and more. Armilla refers to the Armillary Sphere, also the emblem of the estate, which is an ancient astronomy instrument used to show the position of stars around the earth.

The wine is made from Chardonnay grapes and spends a total of 36 months on the lees adding richness and complexity.

On the nose: it possesses a scent which is reminiscent of baked apples with honey and butter biscuits, which is an aroma that entices the nose.

On the palate: it is a wine with complex flavour finishing in a dry and elegant freshness.
