Issue 32 brings around our second ‘green issue’ where we take a glimpse at some of the amazing things people are doing in the food and wine world to better our planet.
While most of us dream of sipping red wine in front of a roaring fire there are people out there like the community from Oranjezicht City Farm who have revived an old, city bowling green and changed it into a thriving patch of organic land or Moyo who have introduced aquaponics to supply most of the greens to their restaurant. There are also people like Johan Reyneke who have pioneered the way forward with biodynamic wine farming and Chef Stefan Marais who works with SASSI and cooks with only green listed seafood.
In between all of these pieces of green inspiration we still have many pages of mouthwatering deliciousness!
