This farm has quietly carved a deserved spot in wine circles and has embraced the Elgin style of wines – elegance above all, with fresh minerality on the finish – a great contributing factor to the longevity of wines from this area. You will not find a jammy, overly fruity nor flabby wine from this cooler corner of the wine growing regions of the Cape.
The wines are crafted with enjoyment in mind and to add harmony to food rather than to stand big and tall on their own.
This is the wine to switch to after sunset when you realise that the chill of winter has not gone completely yet.

On the palate: shows classical Shiraz fruit, red, purple and black berries with ripe prune plums. pleasant brown spices and leathery undertow.
