The Winshaw family has been farming on Klein Welmoed, in the Stellenbosch region, for 44 years. Great, great Grandfather, Dr William Charles Winshaw, was the founder of Stellenbosch Farmers Winery, now known as Distell.

The generations that followed were also involved in the company and now JP and Pierre Winshaw are following in the footsteps of their forefathers, with a lovely portfolio of wines under the Usana label.

The Fox, a medium to full-bodied wine, is named in memory of the family’s great Grandfather, Gideon Johannes Joubert, whose foresight and dedication to the wine industry made this creation possible.

On the nose: the wine entices you with fragrant aromas of delicious cherries and mint, with hints of tobacco smokiness.

On the palate: it is soft and displays typical hints of dark berries, spice, cigar box and a touch of vanilla. its a beautifully balanced wine.
