Tagliatelle served with Mushrooms, Crispy Bacon and Basil Pesto
A tasty tagliatelle with the most delectable toppings!

250g bacon, chopped
1 garlic clove
130g crème fraîche
60ml (¼ cup) ready-made basil pesto
salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
400g fresh tagliatelle
Parmesan, freshly ground
Dry fry the bacon in a frying pan for about 2 minutes.
Toss through the mushrooms and garlic, and cook tossing until the mushrooms are just cooked. Add the butter and toss to melt.
Add the crème fraîche and pesto and adjust the seasoning.
Cook the pasta in plenty of salted boiling water until al dente and drain.
Pour the pasta into a serving dish sprinkle with the Parmesan and serve with micro greens if desired.
