The ultimate cold weather comfort — rich, creamy hot chocolate gets a NOMU makeover with marshmallows & amaretti.

2 C (500 ml) full cream milk

1 tsp (5 ml) NOMU Vanilla Extract

5-6 Tbsp (75 ml – 90 ml) NEW NOMU HOT CHOCOLATE (Just Add Water)

1-2 tots (15-30 ml) Amaretto or cherry
liqueur (optional)

6 white marshmallows (use a pair of kitchen scissors to slice into pieces)

2 amaretti biscuits, roughly crushed

2 glacé cherries, to garnish

Place the milk and NOMU Vanilla Extract into a saucepan and bring to a simmer.

Remove from the heat and whisk in the New NOMU Hot Chocolate (Just Add Water) until completely dissolved.

Add the liqueur according to taste.

Pour into mugs and top with marshmallows and crushed amaretti biscuits.

For an extra special touch, lightly toast the marshmallows using a kitchen blowtorch. Garnish each hot chocolate with a glacé cherry and serve immediately
