Pot Stickers

2 tsp (10 ml) olive oil

150 g (½ packet) Quorn Soy-free, Meat-free Chicken Style Fillets

250 g (½ packet) Findus Wok Thai

1 spring onion, finely chopped

½ small red chilli, finely chopped

2 Tbsp (30 ml) Hoisin sauce

48 round (5 cm diameter) wonton wrappers

Dipping Sauce

¾ C (180 ml) Soy sauce

2 spring onions, finely chopped

1 tsp (5 ml) ginger, finely grated

2 spring onions, finely chopped

micro herbs, to serve

Pot Stickers

Heat a frying pan until hot. Add half of the oil and the Quorn Soy-free, Meat-free Chicken Style Fillets and fry over medium heat for 12 minutes. Remove from the pan and finely chop the fillets.

Heat a wok until hot. Add the remaining oil and fry the Findus Wok Thai for 4 minutes until tender. Remove from the wok and finely chop the vegetables.

Combine the chopped Quorn Soy-free, Meat-free Chicken Style Fillets and Findus Wok Thai with the spring onion, chilli and Hoisin sauce. Season to taste.

Add a teaspoon of filling to one half of a wonton wrapper. Moisten the edges with a little water and pinch the sides together to form a half moon. Repeat this step until all of the filling has been used.

Bring a saucepan of water to the boil. Turn it down to a simmer and place a bamboo steamer on top of the saucepan. Place the wontons in the steamer and seal with the lid. Steam for 6-8 minutes until cooked.

Dipping Sauce

Combine the ingredients and stir.

Serve the pot stickers topped with spring onion and micro herbs, with the dipping sauce on the side.

TIP: Depending on the brand of wonton wrappers you select, sometimes the pot stickers live up to their name and stick to the surface of the bamboo steamer. To prevent this, line the bamboo steamer with a few washed lettuce leaves and lay the dumplings on top of these to steam.
