Nuts and Nutella Jaffle


Who needs dessert if you can have your chocolate in a jaffle?

8 slices white bread
2 Tbsp (30 ml) butter, allowed to soften
2-3 Tbsp (30-45 ml) nutella spread
2 slabs whole nut chocolate, broken into pieces

Spread one side of the slices of bread with the butter. Turn four of the slices over (buttered side down), spread with Nutella and add half a slab of the whole nut chocolate to the centre of each.

Top each slice with a slice of bread (buttered side up). Sandwich together. Pop into the jaffle iron, one sandwich at a time, close the jaffle iron and cook over hot coals, or on a preheated plate on the stove top, until golden brown.
