Get Up and Go Green Smoothie
A morning smoothie that is packed full of nutrients and will start your day off right

Ingredients
You will need a juicer and a blender.
2 Tbsp (30 ml) chia seeds
Juice
3 spinach leaves
3 kale leaves
handful of fresh wheatgrass
half a lemon
2-3 small green apples
3 cm piece of cucumber
Smoothie
2 peeled bananas (can be frozen or soft)
1 kiwi (optional)
half an avo (optional)
1/4 C (60 ml) coconut milk
2 tsp hemp seeds
Method
Soak two tablespoons of chia seeds in water and set aside.
Juice the spinach, kale, wheatgrass, apples, cucumber and lemon.
Add the green juice to the jug of a blender and add in the bananas, kiwi, avo and coconut milk and whizz to combine.
Stir in the chia seeds, pour into glasses and finish off with a sprinkle of hemp seeds on top.
Note: Change your smoothie ingredients according to season to include more seasonal fruit.
