Frozen JOYA Apple Margarita

Ingredients
JOYA Apple Juice Ice Cubes
1.5 kg JOYA®️ apples, juiced
Margarita Mix
1 C (250 ml) tequila
2 Tbsp (30 ml) lime juice
JOYA®️ apple juice ice cubes
To Serve
2 Tbsp (30 ml) fine salt
1 lime wedge
1 JOYA®️ apple, half sliced, half cut into small cubes
zest of ½ lime
Method
JOYA Apple Juice Ice Cubes
Juice the JOYA®️ apples in a juicer. Pour the juice into ice trays and freeze for 6 hours or overnight.
Margarita Mix
Place the tequila, lime zest, lime juice and apple juice ice cubes in a blender and pulse to blend to a slushy consistency.
To Serve
Mix the salt and sugar together, then evenly distribute it on a side plate. Run a lime wedge around the rim of each glass to help the mixture adhere. Invert each glass, dipping the rim into the salt-sugar mix and gently twist to ensure the entire rim is coated. Shake off the excess and place the glass upright.
Pour the frozen margarita mix into each glass. Garnish with a few slices of JOYA®️ apple on the side and add a few blocks to each. Finish with extra lime zest, and serve immediately.
