Avocado, Almond & Cocoa Smoothie
Avocado lends creaminess to this smoothie making it delicious and satisfying.

100 g slivered almonds, soaked overnight
1 C (250 ml) full cream milk
1 C (250 ml) Greek yoghurt
2 Tbsp (30 ml) cocoa powder
stevia or xylitol, to sweeten
Strain the soaked almonds and place into a blender. Add the avocado flesh, milk, yoghurt and cocoa powder. Blend until smooth and sweeten to taste with the stevia or xylitol.
Tip: Add mixed berries to the smoothie for a fruity alternative – use the recommended amount of fruit for the diet you are following.
