Pierre Jourdan Belle Rose
Méthode Cap Classique
Franschoek
In French, Pierre Jourdan Belle Rose translates to ‘beautiful rose’ and the name is a nod to the gorgeous blush colour of this MCC. This subtle colour is achieved by carbonic maceration, a process that extracts the colour and flavours of the Pinot Noir grape while maintaining a dry elegance. The wine pairs well with a variety of foods such as hearty vegetarian dishes, fish, seafood, chicken, duck, guinea fowl and even pork or veal.
Sip on a flute of Belle Rose and enjoy this smoked duck salad with roasted stone fruit. The richness of the meat and the sweetness of the fruit is perfectly balanced with a glass of this bubbly.
On the nose: the deliciously berried scent, reveals the various fruity scents like strawberry, cherry and pomegranate aromas.
On the palate: this is a crisp, refreshing MCC that can be enjoyed on any occasion.
