This beautiful farm lies in the Tulbagh valley, surrounded by the exquisite Winterhoek and Witzenberg mountains. It was established in 1978 by Janey Muller who named it after her husband’s place of birth, which is now part of Ukraine.

The farm became known for being the smallest estate in the Western Cape and also for the relatively unknown variety, Hárslevelù. Janey’s legacy lives on in the release of a single variety Hárslevelù which was bottled in 2012.

David’s own range of wines under the ‘David’ label has received much recognition over the past few years with his Chenin Blanc led white blend, Aristargos, receiving 5 stars in the Platter’s guide for the 2011 and 2012 vintages. This is certainly a farm, and a winemaker, to watch in the future.

On the nose: the wine greets you with the fragrant aroma of fresh berries.

On the palate: this wine offers light spice with a lovely, rich mouthfeel.
