Cavendish Square is a busy mall and if you find yourself in need of respite and some refuelling before you carry on shopping, then slip into Kahvé Road to do just that.

The specialty coffee shop and café is located on the ground floor, in a corner tucked away from the busy mall comings and goings. The lush leather interior is smart, the friendly wait staff will welcome you in and if you make it past the pastry counter without faltering, then you’re doing well.

At Kahvé Road they specialise in making really great coffee and you can tell that this means something to the team by the way it served. Brewed perfectly, served on an embossed wooden board, with a shot of sparkling water on the side and a little bite of biscotti.

The Dishes at Kahvé Road

The menu is full of tasty sounding options for breakfast and lunch and because Kahvé Road is Halaal certified, they offer a seriously yummy option of lamb strips instead of bacon and it’s delicious.

The portions are really generous and a dish like their eggs Benedict, served on a crispy croissant, will satisfy even the biggest appetite. For something lighter, we loved the Avocado Tahini – toast with homemade guacamole, topped with sesame-coated avo slices.

Pretty Pastries

Kahvé Road’s pastry counter is a feast for the eyes. Gorgeous (and absolutely perfect) macarons, domed confections, croissants, delicate apple pastries and eclairs make the burgeoning counter impossible to choose from. We eventually made a choice though and the banana cheesecake and the salted caramel dome were both worthy contenders for pastry of the day.

Whether you’re having a business meeting, a morning coffee with the girls or treating the family to lunch out, Kahvé Road will suit. Last word of advice, if you have space, try one of their milkshakes, we didn’t have any room left to spare but we spied them at a few tables and they looked incredible!
