Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte Brut Rosé NV
Nicolas Feuillatte Champagne is the number one selling Champagne in France and the third biggest-selling Champagne brand in the world.
Nicolas Feuillatte, the man behind the brand, was a Paris-born New York entrepreneur, international jet-setter and socialite with friends in high places the world over. He made his first fortune as a coffee merchant in New York and went on to make his second by creating his own brand of Champagne in 1976.
Often found in the company of the who’s who of society, he decided that the Nicolas Feuillatte brand must in the first instance be able to satisfy the most discerning of palates, in order to also satisfy a wider audience. The Champagne he created was elegant and sophisticated and an immediate hit with an exceptional group of A-listers, amongst them Jackie Kennedy-Onassis and Lauren Bacall. With his celebrity connections, Feuillatte’s Champagne quickly became popular in the US, to the extent that supply was soon unable to match demand.
Tasting notes: This Rosé Champagne is salmon-pink in colour with a fine ribbon of delicate bubbles. The nose is distinctly fruity: fresh strawberry and red cherry with floral nuances. The palate offers red berry flavour in abundance with a zesty finish which adds freshness.
Food pairing suggestions: Smoked salmon or salmon trout, tuna tartare, charred squid, pork loin, beetroot risotto, raspberry pannacotta for dessert.
As an aperitif, best served well-chilled at 7-8 °C.

85% Pinot Noir, 15 % Chardonnay
A tribute to Pinot Noir, the Krone Rose Cuvee Brut is a paradox of rich, berry fruit and refreshing, natural elegance. Each successful Krone vintage is an achievement; a mark of a moment, a time to be celebrated.
The classic varieties of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are hand-picked in the cool of the night. Krone Rose is bottle-fermented and prior to disgorging, the bottles are packed in wooden pupitres (turning racks) and the remuage (turning of bottles) is done entirely by hand. Truly a hand-crafted wine which requires patience.
Tasting notes: salmon pink, elegant, floral bouquet with delicate pomegranate and cut red apple. Fine, creamy mousse with a punch of juicy, rich berries, smooth bone dry finish enhanced by lingering berry notes.
Food pairing suggestions: charred squid with tamarind and pineapple salsa, creamy prawns and avo cocktail with spiced lime wedges, salmon with crispy skin crackling and wild rice, seared tuna, charcuterie board featuring Parma ham and prosciutto.

Villiera is a family run winery in Stellenbosch.They are a pioneering quality wine company committed to preserving the environment and have been rewarded with membership to the Biodiversity of Wine Initiative. Villiera specialises in making incredible MCC’s and their aim is to reflect the specific character of the terroir, as well as the unique characteristics of each vintage in their wines.
Tradition Rosé Brut followed Tradition in 1987 and it was the first bottle-fermented Rosé produced in South Africa. It is now a leader in this category. Tradition Rose can age for at least 3 years from the date of purchase. With age the wine softens in flavour, maintaining its sparkle, giving a fulfilling balance of age and fruit.

Melissa’s philosophy is vigilant attention and consideration in the vineyard with minimal but concise intervention in the cellar, allowing each vintage to express itself from grape to bottle.
