Kirstin Hellemann is currently the junior sous chef at the Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel. She spent 3 years working in the main kitchen on all sections and for the past year has been working in pastry. After high school, Kirstin spent 3 years working and travelling in the UK and Europe. While working in kitchens there she made the decision to become a chef and has never looked back. Upon her return to South Africa, she studied at the SA Chefs Academy and has previously spent time working at 12 Apostles Hotel and Burrata.
