There have been some noteworthy wines made by Gavin Brand from his family farm near Vredendal, which forms part of the Olifants River wine region.

After many unfortunate struggles around names and labels, Gavin has now released a white blend and a red blend with packaging that celebrates their proximity to the West Coast and its stories.

This red blend is majority Shiraz from the Swartland, with Cinsaut, Grenache, Mourvedre and Carignan from Vredendal.

On the nose: perfumed notes with a sweet nose of red summer berries and red fruits.

On the palate: its a light bodied wine packed with red berry flavours. serving this one slightly chilled makes it a perfect summer red.
